Defleet Preparation Valeter

We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Defleet Preparation Valeter due to our department's growth.

This is a permanent position with an annual salary of £26,498.25 at our Bristol Branch. 

Working Hours: You'll work a 42.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.

About the Role:
As vehicles arrive from our rental branches for defleet, your responsibilities will include removing signwriting, jet washing the exterior, cleaning and vacuuming the interior, completing a PDI checklist, taking quality marketing photographs, and recording detailed appraisal videos.As a Defleet Preparation Valeter, you'll report to the Defleet Preparation Manager and ensure our Commercial Vehicles and Cars are ready for sale through a complete and efficient cleaning service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for sale by removing signwriting using a heat gun.
• Clean vehicles to the required standards and remove any U-Drive branding.
• Perform machine polishing/mopping.
• Carry out basic remedial repairs, such as changing wheels, fitting body mouldings, or spraying wing mirror backings.
• Photograph and video vehicles for marketing purposes
• Utilize our vehicle management system to track progress.
• Move and park vehicles carefully in allocated areas.
• Collect vehicles from other U-Drive branches as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the work area and within the branch.

About You:
We're looking for a self-motivated individual with an excellent eye for detail, a strong sense of pride in their work, and the ability to work independently with initiative. While a solid knowledge of vehicle cleaning is preferred, we provide training, so your character and attitude are more important than prior experience. You must also hold a full and clean UK driving license.

Do you bring added value with experience in Smart Repairs, Fibreglass Repairs, Basic Body Repairs, or do you have a category C or D1 Driving License?
