About the Role:

We're on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Decarbonisation Consultant to join our ranks. As an Electric Vehicle Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in advising our B2B clients on the optimal adoption of electric vehicles for their commercial endeavours. Your responsibilities will include analysing existing fleet operations, offering expertise on the latest EV models suitable for various commercial applications, guiding the implementation of efficient charging solutions, and devising strategies for the integration of robust EV infrastructure. This role calls for a profound understanding of fleet management practices, proficiency in alternative fuel technologies, and a fervent commitment to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tailor decarbonisation strategies and action plans for clients, considering their specific operational needs, budget constraints, and sustainability goals.
  • Provide recommendations for transitioning to low-carbon and alternative fuel technologies, such as electric vehicles (EVs).
  • Collaborate with sales teams, account managers, and clients to implement decarbonisation initiatives, including fleet electrification, fuel efficiency improvements, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and government regulations related to fleet decarbonisation.
  • Deliver training and educational resources to clients' staff members on sustainable fleet management practices and technologies.
  • Assist clients in accessing available incentives, grants, and subsidies to support their transition to low-carbon transportation solutions.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fleet management, sustainability consulting, or related fields, with a focus on decarbonisation initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of alternative fuel technologies, vehicle electrification, renewable energy, and emission reduction strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Impeccable report writing and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and certification programs related to environmental sustainability and transportation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software applications.
  • A passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change in the transportation sector.
