Trustpilot Review

Meet Harley, U-Drive's Vehicle Damage and Insurance Manager:

How long have you worked at U-Drive?

I am coming up to 1 year and 6 months at U-Drive.

Tell us about your career progression so far.

I started at U-Drive as an Accident Risk Management & Fleet Coordinator, reviewing processes and driving efficiencies with the Teams and how they worked. My role evolved into becoming the Manager of the Accident Risk Management Team, which entails managing the Team while they review new damage, progress on-going claims, dealing with branch or hirer queries regarding insurance or damage, and reviewing insurance policies that our hirers send over.

What is your team like to work with?

My Team all have a diverse background and skill set. It has been great to see them all develop in their roles. We have a made a lot of positive changes in ARM, including the development and roll out of a new system, which has really cut out a lot of admin work letting the Team focus on choosing the correct path for our claims.

Which part of your role do you enjoy the most?

The part of my role that I enjoy the most is the variation in what I do on a day-to-day basis. No day is the same in ARM and it means I am always challenged and learning new skills to find solutions for the Team.

What do you like about working for U-Drive?

I really like the fact that I am encouraged to fix problems, create solutions, and try new things to progress how the Team works. We work in a challenging and ever-changing industry so having the freedom to try new things with the confidence of the Senior Management Team really helps me thrive in my role.
